Description
After “Sunrise in the Preserve,” I crafted a small work inspired by the cattle my friend and I encountered during morning walks in Nokomis, Florida, near the Bellacina community. On those hot early mornings, the cattle would rest in the shade standing in their shrub-filled field beneath a single, large-spreading live oak. This scene is now history as the area became land for condos along the Legacy Trail.
